Substance-free BRUNCH offers the community a free, safe place to celebrate ST. PATRICK’S DAY®

Thundermist launched a series of recovery events for the community. host a free Sober St. Patrick’s Day® Brunch. The event will be held at the West Warwick HEZ Hub, 1229 Main St., on Sunday, March 17, 2019, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is an opportunity for the community to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and attend the West Warwick St. Patrick’s Day Parade in a substance-free environment.
“A Brown University study found St. Patrick’s Day is the top day of the year for introduction of binge drinking to high school and college students,” said Krista Handfield, manager of the West Warwick HEZ. “This event provides a fun, alternative experience for family and friends.”
There will be home fries, French toast, eggs, corned beef hash, pastries, and fun children’s activities. The event is free and open to the public.
